Dr. Ben Alexander knows you have a choice when searching for a provider of dentistry—and there are dozens of reasons your choice should be him. Dr. Alexander and his staff make their patients feel at home. “I truly believe in treating all of my patients by the Golden Rule,” says Dr. Alexander. “When they walk through the door I want them to be treated the way I’d want to be treated.
I’m blessed to be surrounded by a great team and my staff and I want patients to feel like they are family.” Dr. Alexander values his patients and considers it an honor and privilege to provide dental care to them.
Every individual is unique, as is their treatment plan. Dr. Alexander understands there’s not a “one size fits all” philosophy for providing dental care. He explains, “Some people are more susceptible to dental diseases due to biological and environmental factors, so we have to look hard at mitigating these factors to provide effective treatment.” With this philosophy, it’s not just about providing a “fix,” but also about trying to reduce or eliminate the factors that contributed to the issue in the first place.
Dr. Alexander doesn’t see himself as just a doctor of teeth, but someone concerned about overall health and wellness. “There are many systemic links to general health and dental health. For example, people who are congenitally missing 2 or more teeth have a gene that could also predispose them to ovarian cancer and colon cancer.” Dr. Alexander continues, “As a dental practitioner I use the data I gather from the mouth and inform patients of the potential need to seek medical consultation in order to screen for other systemic diseases and hopefully prevent and protect against them.”
Though already excelling in the field of dentistry, Dr. Alexander continues his education. He is currently training at one of the world’s leading didactic and clinical teaching facilities for practicing dentists who want to provide an unparalleled level of patient care, The Kois Center. The Kois Center curriculum is centered around evidence-based dentistry—all things taught are based off the highest levels of scientific literature and research in order to provide reliable, predictable treatment outcomes.
